lyrics

up all night on a Sunday
Like I don't give a shit about Monday
But the heavy eyes and yawnin'
Are tomorrow's problem

This THC and nicotine
Burger King and Micky D's
Are distractions made for stalling
Tomorrow's problem

But the sun comes up
And tomorrow's still on the hook
For getting me unstuck

But I'll attempt to stifle
Some tongue twisted metaphor
I'm sure that you understand cycles

I must admit I've considered it
That I'm pushing my luck and I can't outwit
That encroaching threatening goblin
Of tomorrow's problem

the days they come and weeks they go
They come for months, to seasons grow
'Til that menacing autumn
Of tomorrow's problem

But the leaves turn brown
And whaddya know, here we go
Right back around

And I'll attempt to stifle
Some condescending metaphor
I'm sure that you understand cycles

the laundry's piled high
My bed is like a sty
Empty boxes of cigarettes
And the bags and cans you might expect

But eventually I'll clean
And hopefully I'll glean
Some threshold of tolerance
To be ascribed to other aspects

Of responsibilities
That I'll complete with ease
So I can thread the bobbin
And stitch and patch tomorrow's problem
